In synthesis to what C.G.Jung tells us, J.Y. Leloup reminds us that there is more loving in us than we are. Deeper than our doubts, our questions, our sufferings, there is in us more peaceful, simpler and more luminous than we are, that we can welcome, marry so that what we are called to is accomplished.

Neptune, between illusion and openness

Neptune is the second planet of the transpersonals. It was discovered in 1846 and as usual with the transaturnian planets humanity has experienced manifestations related to the influences of Neptune. In particular, with the birth of communism and the manifesto of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in 1848. Socialism was born in 1820, however, it was after the 1850s that utopian socialism took off. With the birth of spiritualism in the 1850s. Chloroform was discovered in 1831 and used for the first time in 1847 for childbirth. The 19th century was a period of peace, with a few local wars, but nothing comparable to the previous and following centuries. With these few examples we can see the tendencies towards ideology, utopias, the search for a different spiritual meaning, mediumship and the use of drugs, which have drifted more than ever towards the search for artificial paradises or inspiration towards states of inner peace and self-realization.

In my opinion, there is a lot of idealization with the self, as much among the pros of the new age as among the anti new ages. In reality, self-realization is a concept. Making the choice to evolve spiritually is not a concept, but a natural impulse that every person carries within, every living being carries this evolutionary impulse.Certainly, as long as the fire, the intention born of a deep desire for spiritual evolution is inanimate inside us nothing good spiritual will manifest itself. However, as the Buddha tells us, it is experience that shows the seeker that he is the obstacle to his own realization and that in reality there is nothing to realize since he is already what he seeks. It is a bit like someone who is looking for his glasses and gets tired of them only to notice that his glasses were on his head.

Neptune is between indifference, vagueness, illusion, confusion and the vision of the worlds of mystery, compassion and openness. Neptune is both in nothing and in everything and it is in this flexibility that nothing remains truly contradictory. The visionary has that detachment from form that is essential for the opening of his vision. In this dimension, the Neptunian energy perceives the invisible proposed by the shamans of various cultures, just as it holds the secret of divination.

In fact, it is this sensitive, intuitive perception that can be poorly accepted by some Neptunians, because in this dimension it is difficult to identify with anything. At the same time, the hypersensitivity that Neptune brings makes it possible to be influenced by the habits of the socio-cultural impact. To compensate for this influence, the Neptunian becomes a supporter of humanitarian care, religious and/or spiritual doctrine. There is nothing dishonorable about this, however the proposal of a Neptune lived on a luminous plane is to allow his sensitivity to be what it is, to accept to live a progressive dissolution of the external representations for which he tends to cling. There is no sign or astrological planet that does not express a spiritual energy. We can experience a sign, a planet or an astrological house for sure or less three planes of consciousness. The trick with Neptune Energy is not a specific detachment to the Neptune dimension or to Pisces and the 12th house, but a detachment at all. This can be experienced more directly and intimately during sensitive transits and progressions in the 12th house or a Neptune transit, moon progression in Pisces or on Neptune, etc. These periods have a greater potential to learn detachment, that is to say a letting goes of our identifications.

However, it is not a matter of avoiding living our Venus or Mercury or even our whole chart, but of learning to live it with some distance. This is the subject of our article, learning to accept the dimension of Neptune means accepting to be different. In reality, Luc Bigé tells us on:

With Neptune, there is both a form of naivety and great wisdom, what does this wisdom represent? It is the ability to identify with nothing, not even with oneself or with what we may represent. With Neptune, one holds the ability to see the maya (the illusion) of the world.
